The size of the earlobe repair procedure will affect the cost of the procedure. Typically, an earlobe repair ranges from $500-1000 per ear. Procedure and recovery

Earlobe repair is an in office procedure that takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. Depending on the required correction Dr. Bloom can utilize several different techniques to achieve a repaired and restored earlobe. First, the area will be numbed with local anesthetic with near painless injections. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, Dr. Bloom will remove the stretched or torn component of the earlobe and repair it with 3 layers of sutures to create a long lasting correction. Once the procedure is completed Dr. Bloom will dress the incisions with Steri-Strips to eliminate the need for complicated wound care. Sutures will remain in place for one week and scar management will be explained in detail once they are removed. Patients return to the office 5 weeks after suture removal for re-piercing of their ears if desired.
